REPRESENTATIVE WORK
• Part of team that successfully ended Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited in landmark oil spill litigations (Usari Idoho 2010 & 2012), mitigating potential liabilities in excess of N1,000,000,000 (One Billion Naira) only.
• Active member of team that successfully defended Mobil against legal action seeking to compel relocation to Akwa Ibom.
• Active member of team that represented ExxonMobil USA, Governors of Akwa Ibom State, and the PDP in multiple gubernatorial election petitions (2015, 2019, 2023).
• Represented leading banks (Access Bank, GTBank, UBA) in labour disputes, debt recovery, and regulatory matters.
• Advised/defended Banks against frivolous suits on alleged excess charges and penalties, completely bringing such claims to a non-issue and recovering several billions of naira for the bank from recalcitrant debtors.
• Active team member representing Dangote Petroleum Refinery in suit regarding the interpretation section 317 (8) and (9) of the Petroleum Industry Act.
• Facilitated and advised on registration of companies, trademarks, business names, patents, and copyrights.
