sector, from recovering assets belonging to a failed insured bank pending the settlement of debts owed the
client by the bank. By this order, the Nigerian Federal High Court enforced the client’s possessive lien
over the bank’s assets despite the restrictive provisions of the Act establishing the agency.
Successfully obtained a restraining order against a Federal Government agency from auctioning over 50
haulage trucks belonging to a multinational manufacturing company, which trucks were unlawfully impounded
and condemned for forfeiture by the agency.
Successfully secured government approval on behalf of an IOC, for re-exportation of (restricted) industrial
machinery worth billions of Naira.
Successfully negotiated a settlement between a listed manufacturing company and a Federal Government agency
for the release of dozens of haulage trucks seized for alleged customs and excise offences.
