REPRESENTATIVE WORK
• Advised a global private sector organisation on a sustainable water infrastructure project aimed at providing reliable and sustainable water sources in Nigeria based on a PPP model.
• Advised a concessionaire of the Federal Government of Nigeria on its various Power Purchase Agreements with various off takers including eligible customers, bulk traders and distribution companies.
• Advised on the development of USD1.5 billion hydroelectric facility and construction of transmission lines project sponsored by the Cameroonian government and a United States sustainable energy company, expected to generate about 1000MW of power in Cameroon.
• Advised a development finance institution on the structuring and execution of a cross-border lending of USD20 million for the provision of solar panel/off-grid power solutions to an international power company, advising on regulatory and compliance frameworks to facilitate funding for energy access in underserved regions.
• Structured and negotiated a secured loan agreement for a USD200 million PPP-based sustainable water infrastructure project aimed at providing reliable water sources, ensuring compliance with international sustainability standards.
• Drafted and reviewed the concession agreement for a hydro power plant on the 700MW Hydro Power plant, ensuring adherence to key ESG and sustainability issues including environmental compliance, social impact, and governance frameworks in project and corporate finance operations.
• Advised an international commercial bank in connection with a US$51 million cross-border secured lending facility.
• Advised a fund manager on the establishment and public offering of 1,000,000,000 units of a Money Market Fund, 500,000 units of a Halal Fund, and 500,000 units of a Dollar Fund.
